A new merged registration interview aims to speed up asylum decisions by combining stages of the application process into a single interview for many new claimants. The Government says the changes will reduce delays and tackle the asylum backlog. But I’m now seeing a number of immigration lawyers like Fraz Ahmed appearing on social media criticising the changes and warning their client base.
