Le Scouarnec, 73, is accused of assaulting or raping 299 children between 1989 and 2014. A search of his home uncovered more than 300,000 photos, 650 pedophilic, zoophilic and scatological video files, child-sized sex dolls, as well as notebooks where he described himself as a pedophile and detailed the rapes of his young victims in meticulously compiled diaries, according to investigation documents.
