American is running errands using Lyft. She has multiple stops to make and put the stops in the app The Lyft driver doesn’t speak English so he just left her because she was unable to communicate he needed to wait “I am so sick of these people coming over here not speaking English, like not a lick of English. My Lyft driver just left me at my second stop — came outside, he was gone. If you don't speak English, I feel like you should not be qualified to do anything pertaining to customer service like Lyft, Uber. I'm tired of it. How are y'all maneuvering without speaking English?”

This Lyft driver was watching a show on her phone with earbuds in her ears while driving this mother and daughter. When the mother asked her if she was watching a show the driver told her she was just listening to it. When she informed her that it is against the law to drive with earbuds (it is the driver turned it around on her and started yelling at her saying that when passengers listen to or watch videos it is distracting and dangerous to the driver. She pulled over and made them get out. Lyft responded to the mother and daughter. “We're so sorry to hear what happened during this ride and can't imagine how you're both feeling. We're working with our safety team to review this further and will have someone reach out to you asap.” The mother and daughter also called the police. Do you think the daughter was in the right calling the Lyft driver out like that or do you think she overreacted? Don’t think Lyft should fire the driver? What would you have done if you were the passenger?

FSD can be disengaged by a passenger. This is just a quick PSA to let people know that it is possible for someone sitting in the passenger seat to disable FSD while it's being used. I saw a post today (link below) where a couple was driving and the passenger unintentionally put the car into neutral while driving down a windy road - causing a minor accident. Truthfully I am not sure why it's even possible to put the car into neutral while it's driving, what is the reason that would be needed? Curious what everyone thinks of this?
