I used to be a part time Uber/Lyft driver. Drivers are not allowed to be watching any type of video content while driving. Headphones are not allowed. You’re not allowed to be on the phone talking, unless you have to be making an emergency call if something is happening to your passenger or if your in danger

Someone needs to look into Lyft. The majority do not speak English. Many are Arabic, Columbian, Venezuela and Argentina.

Usually it is a guy named Mohamed, who is on speakerphone the whole time, talking to some other guy named Mohamed. 🤷‍♂️

I had one that was blaring a TV show in Farsi. I asked the guy to put on some music and he said no. He wasn't a very good driver either. I submitted the review to @lyft and they gave me a full refund. Lyft seems to be pretty fair imo

Many years ago, I had a taxi driver in Chicago who started reading the paper while driving in rush hour traffic. Fortunately when I asked him politely to stop because he was scaring me he stopped. In today's world I don't know how they would react.
