Family cr!es out, as they accuse officers allegedly attached to the Owerrinta Police Station in Abia State of ass@ulting, unlawfully detaining them, and allegedly be@ting their father to de@th, as they call on governor Alex Otti According to the family, on June 23, 2026, after returning from their family farmland, they were at home when, between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., some unknown individuals allegedly surrounded their house and began knocking on the door. They claimed their father asked who they were, but the men allegedly forced the door open, entered the house, dragged the family outside, and started be@ting them, she claim. They alleged that the men repeatedly hit their father with a gun before forcing the family into a vehicle and driving away. According to them, after noticing their father's condition had become critical, the men stopped, prompting some villagers to gather and ask what was happening. The family claimed one of the men identified himself to the villagers as "Sunny" from the Owerrinta Police Station she claims They further alleged that the men later returned and dropped their father at the same location because of his condition, while taking the rest of the family to the police station, where they were handcuffed and detained. After making several phone calls, they reportedly paid for bail and were released. On returning home, they said they found their father at the exact spot where he had been left, barely alive. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later confirmed de@d. The family also claimed they returned the following day to report the incident to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO).

Yesterday, we traveled to one of the main detention centers in Mariona, El Salvador, but unsurprisingly, access was denied. A prison guard confirmed that nobody has been allowed to enter any of the detention centers, not even family members. They also confirmed that detainees are not allowed to make sporadic phone calls to their family members. We also met with victims of human rights abuses, including several men who were detained for over a year under the exception regime, and who still have other family members inside the prisons. They were fishermen, peasants, ordinary and hardworking individuals who were taken by the police and thrown in prison without any proper hearings, access to their lawyers or their families, and who shared with us the torture and inhumane conditions they suffered and witnessed in the different detention centers they were held in. While we formally requested access to CECOT, where ten of our Venezuelan clients are detained, and to the Centro Industrial Penitenciario in Santa Ana, where Kilmar Abrego Garcia is detained, the Salvadorian authorities have not responded to our requests.

The early Saints had that, and they knew they had it, because they had felt it in their own bodies. They were healed under hands. They spoke in tongues. They saw visions and buried their children in the certainty of resurrection and crossed a continent on the strength of a fire they could not have faked. That is what converts a man and that is what keeps him, not a well managed self-help program, but the living evidence that what we preach is true. So the cure is not complicated, and it is not new. It is to be again the Church of our fathers. Stop apologizing. Stop trimming the glorious truth into something the world will pat on the head. Speak with authority and with the hammer, the way Joseph spoke, the way Brigham spoke, the way men speak when they actually believe the heavens have opened over them. Reach again for the gifts of the Spirit, and stop pretending they were a founding era curiosity, because a testimony built on argument crumbles in the first storm and a testimony built on the manifest power of God does not. Universal Ostrich Farms Update: We are still trying to get a headcount on the number of birds here, it is proving to be quite difficult. The family is quite concerned, as are supporters. The CFIA will not provide a headcount and are not being transparent with the family or the public. The RCMP have stated that they have begun in an investigation and that the investigation is ongoing but they are relying on information from CFIA for their investigation. I don't know if there are missing birds here, but I think that the truth matters and we are going to do our best to get to the bottom of it. More to come.

As someone who chose to serve this country in uniform, I can tell you that the men and women who pin on a badge every morning are among the very best America has to offer. They willingly step into danger so the rest of us can live in peace. While most of us are sitting down for dinner with our families, thousands of police officers are walking into uncertainty, not knowing if they’ll make it home to theirs. That’s the reality they accept every single day. To watch those men and women be constantly demonized by the Democrat party is deeply disappointing.

Stray dogs wander around The smell of urine and medical waste fills the air. People wait for treatment in spaces that lack basic dignity. This is not just about infrastructure, it’s about humanity. Healthcare is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right. No patient should have to lie on a cold floor while battling illness, No family should struggle in unhygienic conditions while praying for recovery. These visuals are disturbing but they force us to confront an uncomfortable truth, we must do better This reel is not to spread negativity but to spread awareness. Change begins when we acknowledge reality. Our doctors and nurses work tirelessly, but the system needs accountability, better funding, proper management, and urgent reforms. High school students in Quakertown, PA say they were violently assaulted by plainclothes police after staging a peaceful walkout against ICE. Administrators from the Quakertown Community School District reportedly tried to shut the protest down over “safety concerns,” then called police on the students who participated. Students say a man jumped out of an unmarked car in plain clothes, and many believed they were being attacked by a counter-protester, not a police officer. Eyewitnesses report that it was Police Chief Scott McElree who was plainclothes and was seen choking a female student on the ground during the arrests. At a weekend press conference, one parent said her daughter was “deliberately sought after,” thrown to the ground, and choked, while another said she still has not been able to speak with her child since the arrest and fears for her safety. Now parents, teachers, and community members are demanding the release of body camera footage and incident reports, and calling for all detained students to be released.

Today on our pilgrimage we met with the Nasser family on their farm, now commonly known as the Tent of Nations - located south of Bethlehem in occupied Palestine. The Nasser family are a Palestinian Christian family who have owned this farm for over 100 years. But 35 years ago, the Israeli authorities declared his farm and the surrounding area to be State land. Ever since then, the family have been engaged in a struggle to register and protect their farm. And with each passing year, settlements encroach on more and more of their land. But the Nassars continue their Tent of Nations work with steadfast nonviolence and faith, living their message every day: “We refuse to be enemies.” They are an example of creative, hopeful, Christian resistance to injustice and they need the support of Christians around the world. During my visit today I had the honour of planting an olive tree on the Nasser farm. At a time when many Palestinian Christians are leaving, olive trees are a symbol of their deep roots in this land. As this tree grows, I pray that peace grows too in Palestine and Israel. Please pray for the Nasser family, Palestinian Christians and all those working for a just peace in the Holy Land.
