🥁🔥🥁Chad Smith, drummer for Red Hot Chili Peppers, had a video showing him hearing the band Bring Me The Horizon for the first time. Instead of just listening, he immediately started drumming. Even without knowing the song, he quickly figured out the beat and how to build it. He added his own style to the playing, such as playing louder or softer at the right moments, as if he had heard it before.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alabama Football played its latest regular-season game in program history five years ago today when the No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide completed a SEC-only schedule with a 52-3 romp over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Dec. 12, 2020 in Fayetteville. With the victory, Alabama finished unbeaten during the delayed 10-game season and went on to win the SEC Championship Game and the national championship to complete a perfect 13-0 record. Alabama rushed for 216 yards as three running backs accounted for 195 of those yards and six touchdowns. Brian Robinson Jr. scored three touchdowns on runs of 1, 4 and 4 yards, while Najee Harris followed with two touchdowns on runs of 1 and 5 yards. Jace McClellan added an 80-yard scoring run for the final touchdown of the game. DeVonta Smith returned a punt 84 yards for a score late in the first quarter and Will Reichard kicked a 45-yard field goal. LSU had edged Alabama, 9-6, in Bryant-Denny Stadium which at the time appeared to end the Crimson Tide’s championship aspirations. But after upsets ravaged higher-ranked teams, Alabama found itself in the BCS championship game in a rematch against the Tigers. This time the Crimson Tide defense made sure the outcome would be different as LSU failed to cross midfield until the fourth quarter. The Tigers finished with just 92 yards of total offense (39 rushing, 53 passing) and five first downs. “I think it’s a great team win,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said. “Our offense controlled the tempo of the game. We did a great job on special teams. It was just a great team win for every guy here, every fan that we have, every supporter of this program. Democrats lost their minds because Robert Hur noted in his report that Biden couldn't answer basic questions and had a poor memory. Democrats also fought the release of the Hur/Biden transcripts and tapes, claiming that since there was no prosecution, full transcripts and tapes didn't need to be released to the public. Those same Democrats have continually called for Jack Smith to release everything he has on Trump even though there is no prosecution, because wait for it...the public has a right to know. Today Democrats are going to spend the day assisting Smith in smearing Trump in anyway possible.

CJ Allen was a projected Round 1 guy all year and hurt his knee on Nov 15th. He could’ve shut it down to prep for the draft, but he played 13 days after knee surgery because he loves football and couldn’t imagine not finishing with his guys. That makes him a fucking dog. Allen didn’t go through full workouts yesterday or at the combine because his knee is still swollen. When he made those decisions in November he either a) knew it was possible it could effect his draft process but loves football too much to care, or b) was too fixated on his responsibility as a leader and a player to worry about anything else. However you do the math, he’s still a dog. Accounts like this want football players who love football right up until loving football changes how they workout in shorts. My guess is that the NFL team who takes Allen will be the kind who values tape over combine hype, recognizes his excellent football IQ, and wants players who love football because they love it instead of loving football for what it can give them. Those are the kinds of front offices who usually compete for championships. He seems to move just fine in pads

The timing made it even more special, coming only weeks after South captured its first national league trophy in 26 years. An emotional return. Back where it all started.

Funk literally pulled a move that Onita was well known for, and challenged Onita, even though he was with a rival promotion. He even had a check for $500,000 (yen or dollars?!?). Onita is shown here watching Funk's open challenge. I'd love to know what his response was at the end

It’s indeed a sad day & a great loss for South Africa. We are a heartbroken nation in mourning rn💔🥹 Luckily, we are a resilient nation, Honourable President. Some of us have even healed from Madiba’s passing, for example. Anyways, Cde Nathi should be remembered not just for his heroic part in freeing us from colonialism, apartheid & COVID-19. Or how he read eulogies at celebrities’ funerals—even though Bonang hates him to this day. Or for the latest, startling revelations at the Madlanga Commission. Or, heaven forbid, his role when he implemented your “concomitant action” to deal with those “dastardly criminal” Marikana miners which resulted in the successful massacring of 34 & wounding of 75 of the hapless lot on 16 Aug 2012. His best work for me is still the failed R22 million monumental flag project. I still get floored by the part where he says the flag was gonna stimulate the steel-manufacturing & construction industries’ growths, & would be visible even at night bcoz the education [about our heritage] had to be continuous & stuff😅🤣 #MayHeThugInPeace #NathiMthethwa

Today is the 60th birthday for Alabama Football legend Cornelius O’Landa Bennett, but true Crimson Tide fans refer to him as “Biscuit” because he always had room for one more. Born Aug. 25, 1965, in Birmingham, Cornelius Bennett excelled in football, basketball and baseball at Ensley High School, before signing with the Crimson Tide and becoming a foundational player in 1983 for new Alabama head coach Ray Perkins. After moving to linebacker, Bennett became a three-time, first-team selection to the College Football All-America team. As a senior, he won the Lombardi Award and SEC Player of the Year honors. He finished his Alabama career with 287 tackles, 21.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries (which might have been four if the officials had made the right call on sack of Steve Beuerlein in 1986). The Indianapolis Colts selected Bennett second overall in the 1987 NFL Draft, but then traded him in a three-way deal to the Buffalo Bills where he became a five-time Pro Bowl player.
