people used to buy new memecoin pairs because they wanted to find the next 10 million marketcap runner as early as possible, but now people trench so they can buy coins at 4K and sell it at 6K "back in 2024 the reason people were looking at new pairs was so they could find the next big memecoin early and then hold it to 10+ million marketcap. now people just want to rinse new pairs over and over again without ever caring to buy a coin over 10K marketcap. I think we're going to shift back into people buying and holding new pairs longer when memecoins come back again"

why were coins going to $1 billion+ marketcap back in 2024, but today coins struggle to break $10 million marketcap? here are my thoughts on this question that IcoBeast.eth🦇🔊 posted my short answer to the question is: 1) there were market makers pushing these coins to insane valuations and utilizing leverage on the way up AND the way down to profit heavily 2) whales and speculators were willing to buy 1,000s of SOL at any given point 3) there are too many coins now, there is a disconnect between launchpads and traders 4) the crypto market overall is just exhausted, and we're in a period of uncertainty 5) crime there are obviously other reasons, but this is a good start for now
