PSA: It is illegal to vote federally if you are not an American. The DOJ Civil Rights Division Division @theJusticeDept works hard to enforce election law & preserve free and fair elections. Not one American vote should be diluted because of dirty rolls/election official failures!

Does Kirti Azad have IQ of less than 50? Not surprising,since he is from TMC..Very poor IQ is one of the qualifications to be a Mamata Banerjee acolyte:):) Does he think #UCC means people will stop wearing a dhoti or kurta,or lungi or pants? UCC is a civil code,not a dress code

One Nation One Election – A much needed reform that comes with inherent challenges! I have always supported the idea of One Nation, One Election. Many people don't realize that India actually conducted simultaneous elections for Parliament and most State Assemblies until 1967. So, this isn't a new concept, it is something we moved away from over time. Imagine the amount of money, time and administrative effort that can be saved if the entire country votes together once every five years. More importantly, governments can spend more time governing instead of constantly preparing for the next election. Frequent elections also mean repeated enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct, which delays projects and slows decision-making. Of course, this reform won't be easy. It will require constitutional changes, political consensus and careful planning. But every major reform comes with challenges. For me, One Nation One Election is not just about elections it is about better governance, policy continuity and nation-building. If implemented with the right safeguards, I believe it will be one of the most significant electoral reforms in independent India. Big reforms need bold political will!
