Incorrect. The “ref” you see in the first clip is the Umpire. He’s in position. The “ref” in the second clip is the Back Judge. Once you get inside the 20-25 yard line, the position is back of the end zone under the goal posts. 2 different positions, 2 different locations.

The ref that’s supposed to be in the middle of the field in the JAX-HOU game got hurt early in the game. They are playing down to 6 refs instead of 7.

You see this is you being an idiot. The NFL ises 7 officials. The umpire moves to the offensive side of the the ball. The NCAA uses 8 officials and moves the umpire to a depth of 8-10 yards on the defensive side of the ball and adds the center judge to the offensive side of the ball where the NFL umpire takes position. Is ignorance painful? Just asking the subject matter expert of the day

Educate yourself on the Saturday game and Sunday game. The Umpire in college is on the defensive side. Which he is in the correct position. In the NFL, the umpire is opposite the Referee in the offensive backfield. The referee you saw in the London game is the back judge.
