First off the cross didn't happen in the same timeline the yellow machine in the shot of them meeting was a timemachine elroy built

@RickD_GK I have a different take. The Flintstones are the rednecks who live in the trailer parks. The Jetsons are the ones in the big cities exploring space. They both live in the same time. It’s just some humans prefer the simpler life while others want to explore space. It’s a choice.
