That Vhagar turn around scene is still one of the coldest moments in House of the Dragon. Aemond looked so confident, like one dragon was enough to make everyone kneel. Then Rhaenyra emerges with Syrax, Caraxes, and Vermax behind her and suddenly the mood completely changes. You could almost see the realization hit him that even Vhagar can be overwhelmed. Rewatching this scene from House of the Dragon, I realized Jace and Luke were the ones who attacked Aemond first. He hadn’t even done anything to them at that point. In fact, they were among the kids who bullied Aemond when he was younger.
