No they fully announced a few years back that they were phasing out the green color because it was not recyclable friendly. So not it is recyclable friendly

it was always green, I'm pretty sure someone had a good idea of why they changed it, it's harder to tell which companies bottles it is when they are all clear but it's harder when one of them is green. so, they changed it so you couldn't tell.

I have a green sprite bottle that my floor guy put stain in for patching spots if the floor scratches. I’m looking at it. Very green. Kind of silly to gaslight people with this. Also the fruit of the loom had knock off versions as well.
