Here is the website where you can vote and automatically collect your voting reward!

The smart contract is written in @pebble_lang and executing on mainnet It is fully open source under MIT license feel free to use it for your proposal as well

@pebble_lang Very clever!

@pebble_lang And open source too!

is this the first gApp (governance app)

@pebble_lang Would be nice to see the total amount available for claiming...

@pebble_lang It should tell you when you sign the tx But you are right, adding now 🫡

@pebble_lang Very very cool! Thanks for developing this.

@pebble_lang Decentralized governance requires partecipartion, we are just doing our part 🫡

@pebble_lang Am I being bribed to vote :D Just kidding. Nice work

@pebble_lang No the bribe we agreed upon will be sent separately 😉

@Cerkoryn @pebble_lang banger

@Cerkoryn @pebble_lang

@pebble_lang wait wtf where did you find the audacity??

@pebble_lang Apparently I was born with it 😭

@BeatriceAnihiri @pebble_lang This is a great idea 👏 Certainly better than forcing every proposer to donate 1000 ada to the treasury, which the DReps don’t even benefit from.

@pebble_lang Cool, let me fork it to compensate only when voting yes on my proposal. 😂

@pebble_lang Just be advised that dreps can vote a second time without the contract 🙈

@pebble_lang Damn DReps always grifting honest people.

@pebble_lang Are you giving free money? Also, do you mind giving me the technical TLDR? Maybe we can integrate into the CF voting tool for all the DReps who use it.

@pebble_lang Alright, it’s just a deployment on my personal server, but it seems to work. I see some DReps are more equal than others ^^ (this is @JaromirTesar )

@BakonPool @pebble_lang Not only very smart to deploy this with your own proposal, but also a really great idea in general!! I am impressed! Thank you Michele!

@InputEndorsers @pebble_lang Dude, seriously…you betta slide into my DM.

@InputEndorsers @pebble_lang Sssliding into dms

@InputEndorsers @pebble_lang

@pebble_lang 👀👀

@pebble_lang Great stuff!!

@pebble_lang

Should I vote on stuff that I do not understand and get rewarded for it? Yes, there's a lot of stuff I do not understand, and I'm really not ashamed of admitting that. But I refuse to cast a vote on things I do not understand! How about adding a questioning form where people actually answer a few questions proving they know what they are voting on? You want quality participation, not only quantity, right? I'm not a fan of this sorry!

@pebble_lang The adding questions part is actually a good idea

Sorry if I come across as aggressive,that’s just my typing style. Requiring platforms or governance systems to create detailed questioning forms for every single proposal would be an enormous and unsustainable job. Instead, these question forms should be provided directly by the project teams submitting the proposals. They’re in the best position to clearly explain what their project is about and guide voters through the key considerations. Rewards for participating could also be distributed based on the percentage of correct answers. I realize this isn’t bulletproof, people could still blindly vote or game the system, but it could be refined and improved by people way smarter than me. If we let people vote blindly, we’re just recreating the same broken legacy governance we have today. I love the idea of giving people the right to vote, but we should also make sure they actually know what they’re voting on. The world already has enough dumbass politicians because too many people vote with minimal information, just picking randomly or based on having only two choices.

@pebble_lang Maybe this could be combined with cip-149 so that the DRep only gets my tip for voting activity?
