Dynamic pricing should be illegal

Agree

Those are lights that blink to help employees find products easier. Those are not cameras.

And what do any of the peasants intend to do about it???? NOT A DAMN THING other than continue to pay and shop at the very store doing it…So why complain about it? Either take a stance people or its only going to get worse….

Oh boy…… All the people who have been so seemingly OUT OF THE FUCKING LOOP — are in for a BIG WAKE UP! (Well ….. we can hope. For their sakes!!) 👇🏻

It just makes it easier to change tag prices.take off the tinfoil hat 😂

That's not a camera he's a f****** moron it's a when you're looking for something and you can't find it you can go to the app find it in the app and you can press a light button and that little round Little Dot will light up to show you where your product is he's an idiot

There's no way that's true. The framing would be bad and the processing power required for analyzing hundreds or even thousands of videos like this would be very high, not to mention the bandwidth and signal interference faced from all that data transfer.

Yes but how does the price change at the register??

He's lying he's lying he doesn't know what he's talking about it's a light that flashes to let you know where your product is at spark for Walmart you can press up light up button to find the product that you want it just helps you find stuff it's a little light bulb that flashes

How is this still up? It is false. Prices don't change per customer. It is for general price changes, makes it much easier. Just imagine three people walk up to same product at same time. What happens then? Dumb da dumb dumb

Depending on their skin color

Even though those are not cameras, the price change to adapt to customer is a real thing, be careful...

This is only a partial truth. Digital price tags have been around and used for a long time,& are great because if you’ve never worked in a grocery store and understand that every time the price changes on one of the 165,000 items in a grocery store, it’s been manual update to now

Saves money on labels during a price change. All digital updates. Been around for a min.

So I have this fat magnet…

Saves a fortune on paper and ink, they can be changed with a wave of a PDA so it saves labor that can be better spent elsewhere and those e-ink displays last for months without needing the batteries replaced or charged If you see a price that too good to be true take a picture

Well... Experiment.... Walk with a few folks in the same aisle. Do better with research.

Yep it is the price you get once Data over years will get send to companies.

I do shop at these places

What would happen if you are to wear a mask and only pay with cash.

it’s connected to your phone somehow ? Reference income

Leave the phone in the car

please put you foil hat in the drawer
I bet there’s a tiny flock camera in there.

Inflation wasn’t suppose to last this long

Wow @FTC @USDA_ERS

replete

That's not a camera, it's a light that flashes when an employee scans a product in the app they use so they can see where to put the stupid thing. It's a game changer for stockers.

How about I wear pantyhose over my head when I shop for my kumquats?

Wtf? That cant be right. If u tell me that it's used for shoplifters i can understand. But most people dont even remember the price of half the things they bought

That’s not a camera. Stop fear Mongering

Dumbass.. Thats for Spark, Instacart, Shipt, etc...

That’s sick asf I hate this
