There was also no coverage of the deadly flooding in Washington state, Oregon and Montana last week, but we heard about the massive snowstorm across central USA

Nope. They're all talking about an old photo of Trump and beauty pageant people.

No, I didn't. Nor did I hear about a similar strike in Portugal the day before (11th?), as mentioned in the AP article.

@cashtradr_1 It was a protest but not as big as some make it look And wasn't about Palestine, was about economic budget of 2026

France is next. But US isn’t covering any of what going on over there. They barely cover what happening in the US.

I’m just hearing this right now. Of course it’s not on our legacy media. They’re all a bunch of liars.

Yes there is a massive strike in Italy at the moment. The reason for the strike is that all the syndicates have gotten together to protest the president's reforms towards transportation and education. The Palestinian flags in the background of this post are quite misleading

Because it didn’t happen. The whole country did not shut down. There was some transit and port strikes. A few other incidental protests turned into closures. But say the whole country shut down or anything even close to that… is insane.

There is still censorship on X. Bulgaria has massive protesting and shut down their government too.

I read four newspapers every morning and it was in all of them. If you just get your news from social media, that’s why you didn’t hear about it.

Italy is under invasion. If the past governments administration were pretty manage it really open the floodgates to the invasion of foreigners for obvious reasons they shut down.

There were two protests: one for transportation workers, second for something related to Gaza, none of them shut down Italy. Second is not even about Italy, so I don’t understand what is she talking about.

Because it's bullshit. 1% of the country gathered in one place. Not a "country shutdown". No-one gives a fuck about Palestine anymore, so neither does the media.

Grok - The X post shares a viral video exaggerating Italy's December 12, 2025, general strike—called by the CGIL union against budget cuts and retirement age hikes—as a complete nationwide shutdown in unified protest, blending labor action footage with pro-Palestine rally clips featuring Palestinian flags and crowds in Rome. - While the strike disrupted transport, schools, and health services across Italy, causing delays for millions, it was not a total blackout; international coverage existed via outlets like DW and Euronews, but US mainstream media gave it minimal attention amid domestic priorities, fueling the video's media suppression narrative. - This post, from a MAGA-aligned account, taps into themes of global resistance against perceived elite control, amassing over 77,000 views and sparking debates in replies about event scale and motives, with some users noting similar underreported protests in Europe.

I am curious to find out how many of those in the crowd were from America or other countries in the form of antifa agitators, paid to promote change to assist with liberal control... we may see this same tactic used here in the states!
