There’s a loud argument being made right now that great companies are built through longer hours and more office time. Linear is a compelling counterexample. They're remote-first. They don't treat hustle culture as a badge of honor. And they're building one of the most admired product companies in the world. In my conversation with Linear COO Cristina Cordova, she put it simply: It’s not about whether you ship more. It’s whether you ship the *right* things. Internet Computer Is Very Close to 300 Billion Transactions Internet Computer (DFINITY Foundation) is often praised for its scalability and rightfully so... The protocol has reached 293 billion total transactions, with roughly 7 billion left to reach the 300B mark. With the blockchain processing over 2.5K txs per second, ICP is ahead of most blockchains in scalability. For context, Solana processes 1,285 tx/s and is regarded as one of the fastest Layer 1 chains in the crypto space. In the meantime, 300B total transactions will represent a significant milestone for the platform.

The blockchain is a public ledger. If you couple that with a few centralized exchanges, KYC information, you can track most of the transactions pretty accurately. So I think right now there's a lack of preserving of privacy." "For example, if your company pays everybody in crypto and if you get one payment today on the blockchain, you can just trace to the address that paid you and see how many addresses that address paid in the last week, then you can figure out everybody's salary. That's a privacy issue." "Another example, if you pay for a hotel [in crypto], then people will know that you're going to stay at that hotel, which for some people may create security issues. So there's little problems like those that are not solved yet."

Did you know that 75% of physicians are now employed by larger entities, as opposed to being in independent, private practice? I want you to know how important it is to protect the private practice of medicine. I’m fighting hard to protect the ability of physicians and patients to make independent, healthy decisions. To do that, we have to start in our communities by protecting the physicians and practices that are independent and holding the line in healthcare for all Americans.
