How to set up the tee for a pitch down the middle, inside & outside. I see far too many athletes setting up incorrectly when doing tee work at my clinics and I see it from all ages. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have the tee in the correct spot. You can have the best swing in the world but if your contact point is off, it does you no good. For a pitch down the middle, you’ll want to make contact with the ball about even with your front foot in order to stay connected and hit for maximum power. Inside will be right outside of front foot and outside will be right inside of front foot. Letting the ball travel too deep will jam you and catching too far out front will force you to hit the ball off the end of the bat and roll over. So for those wanting to change swing mechanics so quickly for mishitting the ball, check your contact points first.

How do you play the uphill lie? There are actually a couple of ways you can do this. You can go with or against the slope! 1: With the slope (great for longer clubs as they’re generally shallower into contact) - Ball position, normal or even slightly further forward - ⁠ spine angle, approximately perpendicular to the slope - ⁠ The ball will go really high so club up 2: Against the slope (I like this better for shorter irons as the swing is steeper and we’re looking for solid contact just like Karol) - ball position further back - ⁠ Lean on front leg - ⁠ The through swing will probably be more of a punch style because of the slope Which one would you do? Christo Lamprecht's bag has a PING Thriver in it. Not a mini driver — a Thriver. Higher lofted driver head, shorter shaft. More forgiveness than a mini driver, slightly less ball speed than driver, and enough loft to hit off the deck when needed. Distance control > distance. Mini driver or Thriver — which would go in your bag if you had to choose?

Do you struggle with low point control? Tired of hitting the ball fat? Here is one common move that I see golfers do that causes low point issues! 🔹If the upper body moves off the golf ball too much, you will have a hard time getting the chest back on top of the ball at impact 🔹Work on staying more centred when you rotate your body in the backswing 🔹This will help stay over the ball and make it easier to have you body ahead of the ball at impact, moving low point forward and compressing the ball better Increased shaft lean, divot in front of the ball, compressed iron shots 👊🏼

Behind the ball is how you get depth AND length out front. (Not one or the other) Here’s what it actually gives you: 1. You swing more connected and deeper. 2. The barrel enters earlier and stays in longer. You get both. 3. Depth behind what buys you length out front. Most guys are picking one or the other. 4. You sling the barrel through. You’re not shoving it or yanking it into the zone. 5. You actually use the ground. Behind the ball you turn. If you’re not using the ground, you’re probably sliding and pulling everything towards the ball. 6. Your bat speed becomes usable. Pushed and pulled bat speed still reads fast vs one pitch one speed. Only one of them shows up on the barrel, in the zone, on time vs pitching. — Cue for your next round: let the ball get deeper than usual, and turn behind a wall. You can scoot close to a net in front of you to get the feeling, too. Then vs moving ball. > Save this for when you need it > Send this to a hitter who needs it right now (And make sure you’re following)
