Although my victory yesterday was bittersweet due to the drama that occurred, I am proud to have accomplished it nonetheless. However, I cannot help but feel disappointed when I see women tearing each other down instead of uplifting and supporting one another in golf or in any sport. It's my hope that we can shift our focus to growing the game and creating a supportive community for women in golf, rather than using underhanded tactics to gain an advantage. Let's work together to empower each other and make golf better for everyone involved. Did you know that set up with a driver vs irons is different? With irons you hit down on the ball vs driver you hit up on the ball. Here are 4 tips to set up properly with a driver: 1. Widen your stance, wider than irons 2. Place the ball off your front foot 3. Tilt/lean your shoulders away from the ball 4.
