Yep and it was bloody awesome! First game I ever played on the Atari ST. Love it to bits to this day. Originally called Kelly X and not Xenon!

Just a little info here i had the St version and the amiga back the day me and my mate danny did a experiment on this game and conclusion was ...The amiga wipe the floor with the Atari ST by 10 % on visuals or 99% on sound. we played next to next !!!

Haha. Ty for posting this, I didn't know it was their first game! .. I'd been playing this when I was twelve and, when asked to pick a 'member name' at Laser Quest, came up with 'Xen'. 33 years later and it's still with me! :)

Did you know Xenon was actually the very first game from the legendary Bitmap Brothers? This 1988 vertical shooter on the Commodore Amiga kicked off their iconic run with that signature metallic look: smooth scrolling, the awesome tank-to-fighter jet transformations, massive bosses, and pure high-energy action that defined early 16-bit greatness. Absolute classic that still holds up today! Did you know the digitized face that pops up saying "Level One" was Bitmap Brother Eric Matthews! Xenon was also the first Amiga game ever to crack the UK Top 40 software charts which was usually dominated by Commodore 64 and Spectrum games. The game is legendary but from memory after you blasted your way through the game, it just looped back to the start, (correct me if my memory is faulty) those sort of endings were a major disappointed especially when you have dedicated so many hours into the game! Do you remember playing it?

Early versions named the robot store on Kerona “Droids-R-Us,” a clear Toys“R”Us parody. Toys“R”Us sued, and Sierra was forced to change the name to “Droids-B-Us.” In the bar you could also spot the Blues Brothers and ZZ Top, but legal issues later affected their appearances too. Despite the legal headaches and a terrible 20% rating from Commodore User magazine, the game launched an extremely fun series. Who else really enjoyed Space Quest?
