Didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that the Big 12 made a massive mistake with their glass court. It will be subbed out with a regular hardwood court for the semis and championship game.

At least they are going back to hardwood for the semis.... they didnt want to listen to the ladies. They were saying it last week as well...

Credit for making the switch midstream, a lot of leaders wouldn’t own a mistake that quickly. Slips in game had to be 6X on this floor.

The Women had the same criticism but were forced to play through it!! Disgusting double standard!!

Good editing @mattvanwinkle

Disaster for Yormark. Remember he made such a giant deal about announcing this? And it didn’t even make it through the tournament.

As an Eastern Iowa elitist, I’d figure you to be a fan of the fancy court

Nah it was bad ass. They'll work out the bugs just like any other technology. Hate to break it to you but the whole idea ain't going away. Some company has gone this far, they aren't stopping now. Im guessing they will figure out a way to improve grip and minimize glare

Didn’t take a rocket scientist but you need to make a podcast about it.

Any injuries, should sue the Big 12.

Just be clear…you are about as far as you can get away from being a rocket scientist so don’t pat your narcissistic self on the back too much Weasel Boy.

Somebody should get fired for that court idea Unwatchable

The players complained on the grip and slipping. Good experiment and good call to change it out

Bunch of OLD GUYS🤣🤣🤣

Impossible to follow the action... you forget the wood reflects the light making the ball and players easier to see.

@IowaEverywhere it'll be back next year, count on that it'll be everywhere soon enough

@IowaEverywhere

Except they couldn’t do for the women’s game. It was happening then too.

@IowaEverywhere I’d rather have Yormak try 20 new things and make a few mistakes than be like the B1G commissioner and NEVER try to be innovative!!!

But did they? Tons of press and eyeballs and recruits looking at a conference and commissioner always a step ahead.

Sometimes innovation sounds great on paper, but the game is always better when the players feel comfortable on the court.

Too late. Women played on it. Previous games. Not fair and a stupid thing to even try. Embarrassing.

Actually you should get a physics professor from ISU to explain the difference glass and wood surface and effects on the athletes body.

Give us our tortillas back.

Finally
