Differentiated instruction isn’t a real thing. It’s doing multiple jobs at once. Learning styles are a myth. #education #teachersoftiktok #differentiation

So true- it’s another one of those things that if you bring up these points - you as the teacher are the problem-

Multiple jobs we are doing HALF ASSED at once benefiting NO ONE but it looks good on paper 🙄Education in a nutshell.

Multiple jobs at once, while being paid the same amount, or less, given inflation and the static increases in salaries…

Government education is filled with pseudoscience and myths

I agree. For all the lofty goals & talk, this is reality. IEPs are the ultimate proof. All partners in the IEP process are usually unhappy.

Any teacher who reiterates instructions is differentiating; who uses hand signals; or who splits class into groups; gives 1-2-1 support; who offers extension tasks; or immediate critical feedback; offers choice of activity, or times assignments, or makes seating plans...

Appreciate the nuance here.

Agree. Absolutely true.

@FMannerheim I am of the same opinion, but I do not have scientific sources to support my opinion. Do you have any?

A masterpiece!
