Hundreds of Ukrainians gathered in central Kyiv on Monday evening to protest against a controversial law they say undermines the independence of the country’s leading anti-corruption bodies, NABU and SAP, by placing them under the control of the prosecutor general. A Kyiv Post correspondent at the scene reported that demonstrators were calling on President Zelensky to veto bill 12414, warning it could roll back crucial reforms made since the 2014 revolution.
