Discovered there is a "Trail controller" that works WAAAAY nicer than AnimDynamics or KawaiiPhysics for tails. Sure wish this didn't take hours of googling and going through dozens of forum posts to find out it exists

I've been learning unreal for a year now and the main thought I'm starting internalizinalize is that there is always already a solution to my problem somewhere in engine code

Say what? 😱 why nobody talks about that? Looks awesome, need to give it a try

Question is, how reliable is this, and does it exhibit clipping issues? I'd still rely on Anim Dynamics (for reliable gravity motion) and Kawaii Physics because of collisions and reliability, especially walking backwards which isn't shown here. Also does it react to winds?

I'm not sure what you mean by "reliable", but I can't imagine it's much different than AnimDynamics. Yes you can do wind or extra external forces, and the "collisions" are planar limits, but in my use case it works great. Never been able to get AnimDynamics to work nice like this
