Money has always evolved alongside technology. From paper, to electronic ledgers, to digital payment rails, each shift changed how markets operate rather than whether they operate. The IMF's perspective highlights that tokenization is part of this same progression. It brings faster settlement, broader access, and new ways for assets to be represented digitally. I asked Maldives Airports Company Ltd staff to contact Beijing Capital Airlines’ ground handler (Voyages Maldives). The airline staff could not come to assist but spoke over the phone.
