A buddy in the military told me about the 5 Ps: Proper preparation prevents poor performance. That ties in to what you said Matthew. I can only add that sometimes it seems success and failure are seasonal and I'm not really sure if I have a choice in the matter either way. I can't make all the traffic lights green but somedays they are and I'll find my street turnoffs and a good parking spot. Other days seem ordained to maximize total mental carnage. There is a spiritual component working here to glean good from the bad and thanksgiving from the good. It may not work this way for everyone but for me it is a chance for moral development. Enjoyed your dissertation as well as your movies. You should of been Roland in King's movie ... 😀
