He was initially arrested in February 2025 and detained for several days, with a second arrest occurring on March 14, 2025, from which he has now been released, likely due to the publicity generated by our advocacy efforts. Babu Owino: As we speak, my security officers are in Kisumu Central Police Station just because they refused to join Raymond’s team. There is no charge up to now. The people who arrested them, they are police officers who came from DCI HQ in Nairobi not Kisumu, specially organized to come and arrest them. Even the police officers in Kisumu are saying PS Interior is rogue, he is disturbing them, he cannot give them their independence. Every time phone calls, go and arrest so and so because those people are not speaking his language. The first person who should be arrested is the PS Interior.
