Yes, I always wear a sidearm when I'm making laundry detergent... :-) Clean laundry and 2A liberty, both!

Thank you I will try!!!! You also posted a simple recipe for ice cream months ago and I use it all the time now!!!! 2 cups whipping cream whipped 1 can condensed milk 1 teaspoon vanilla Fold ingredients and freeze. So far I’ve made strawberry, chocolate and coffee using this recipe as a base!!

I did this from the video you posted a few weeks ago! It did turn to gel and I've already used it a time or two. So far, so good!

Good one!! My current formula is 500 g washing soda, 250 g Borax, 180 g = 2 bars soap (grated). It works very well. 2-2.5 tablespoons per big load. Borax is so antifungal, even the small residue left in the clothes and washing machine. Good for you and no more mildew or mold!

I make my own dishwasher detergent powder: 4 cups of soda 2 cups of borax 1 cup of citric acid powder

Been making my own for years now. Works great. This formula lasts me 10 to 12 wks.

Best investment I’ve ever made was s speed queen washer. With this soap recipe you only need a small amount.

How about showing us how to make dish soap so we can stop buying all the chemical crap ones?

Whatcha got for dishwasher soap?

I love this stuff and I won't use anything else. I bought premade from the health ranger store! BEST EVER♡

My grandmother would use a store bought laundry detergent called '20 Mule Team Borax'. Started in 1891 and still around today.

How does this stuff stack up:

Cool more of this thanks Mike!

Cool!! I just started making my own bars of soap so this should be a great addition. Thanks!

Honest question: If I use this in a cold water wash, will it rinse out? Or will I end up with clumps of powder. I hate that! We also. Have a family member with vitalago and psoriasis. We currently use allergy sensitive soap any issues with this stuff?

We have been making our own laundry soap for 20+ years now. Powdered and liquid.

You have a TV voice 👍

I made our laundry detergent for a while and I loved it until it clogged our new washer up. Now I’m a little apprehensive to try it again.

Love that you’re using the studio kitchen!

Doing my own loundrey powder for more then 15 yrs due to allergy.

Anybody have an all in one washer/dryer and used this? Or have suggestions for using this in the machine.

I have been making my laundry soap for the last, 50 years because I did not like the perfume in the store bought one. But also have never used any forms of cream/ conditioner/ lotions from stores, because I make them myself using natural products. 🙏

Thanks Mike!

Mike is a cutie. 🥰

Thank you Mike Adams for everything you do for us !

Here's where you can get the soap at: I couldn't get it to load on my end, but laundry detergent is on there if you search for it at his website.

What do you say to this:

Thank Health Ranger, I’ll give it a try.

Effective homemade laundry detergent recipe from the HealthRanger (Mike Adams) video:Ingredients (makes enough for ~100 loads):2 cups borax 2 cups washing soda (sodium carbonate — not regular baking soda) ~½ cup natural/unscented liquid soap (e.g., castile soap or similar from HealthRangerStore; you can use grated bar soap dissolved if preferred) Optional: A few drops of essential oils for scent (e.g., lavender, lemon), but not required.Instructions:In a large bowl or container, mix the dry ingredients (borax + washing soda) thoroughly. Slowly add the liquid soap while stirring to combine into a uniform powder or paste-like mixture. Avoid clumping. Transfer to a storage container (e.g., plastic tub with lid). Usage: Use about 1–2 tablespoons per load (adjust based on load size and water hardness). It works in standard and HE washers. For best results, use in warm/hot water; it may need agitation in cold water. This simple 3-ingredient mix avoids synthetic fragrances, surfactants that can produce 1,4-dioxane, and other common detergent chemicals. Borax adds cleaning power, whitening, and antifungal properties; washing soda softens water and lifts dirt; the soap provides the surfactant action. Cost: Pennies per load (bulk washing soda and borax are very inexpensive). Many users report excellent cleaning results, fewer residues, and benefits for sensitive skin. Tips from similar recipes and user feedback:Grate a bar of natural soap (like castile or Fels-Naptha) as a dry alternative if you prefer powder-only. Store in a cool, dry place. It may clump slightly in humidity but still works. For very hard water or heavy stains, add a bit more washing soda or use with white vinegar in the rinse cycle (as a natural softener). Test small batches first if you have an HE machine or sensitive fabrics. This matches the demonstration in the video and aligns with Mike Adams' published guidance. It's a proven, low-cost alternative used successfully by many for years. Always check for allergies (e.g., to borax) and ensure ingredients are food-grade or suitable where possible.

We’ve been doing this for years. It’s actually cheaper to make by far. And we don’t get all that crap chemical

Thanks Mike!
