The reason for this unfair arrangement is the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), an agreement designed by the nations of the West to lock as many other nations out of nuclear power as possible, while the West gets to keep its arsenals. Though a new political wave is rising in Africa, led by the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), the continent is still bound by this treaty. This must change! Africa must wake up to the reality of its self-preservation in a world that has exploited it for too long.
