This morning he enjoyed a sunny walk, had his bandages cleaned and changed, and took his medication like a champ. He no longer needs the drip, so he can finally start living a little more like a normal dog. ☀️ His heartworm treatment has begun, and once he’s stronger, we’ll start the injections. There’s still some preparation ahead, but everything is on track. In the next few weeks, we’ll also see a trauma vet to discuss reconstructing his foot. One step at a time, Atlas. Matt Rife has severe insomnia. He can't sleep. It got so bad that he passed out on his way to a show. He would be up crying between 4am and 9am because he couldn't sleep despite being exhausted. Honestly that sounds like a nightmare. Which is ironic since you'd have to be asleep to have a nightmare. Going days with little to no sleep can seriously mess with your brain. Sometimes Punch came out and clung to the zookeepers because they had let him out at that time. They may be allowing this once a week so they can gradually reduce his bonding with the zookeepers instead of stopping it all at once. #punch #punchmonkey

eric's reason for choosing to perform on the last day of inter-zection concert : 🤍 during his hiatus back in 2022, when he was in US, he started crying as soon as he saw the members doing the thebzone encore. he told his mom that he wanted to perform on stage too.... and after the concert on saturday, that moment came back to him, he thought about how he didn't know when he would get to perform stages like that again, especially for checkmate. he thought sunday could possibly be his last time performing it. because he had already gone through that experience once in 2022, he felt that was enough and didn't want to go through it a second time so that's why he decided he had to perform on sunday no matter what. and thankfully, everything went well and even better than he had worried about. so for the next few days, he'll focus on recovery, and he'll be going to the hospital again today for treatment, so there's no need to worry.

Before GRS, he had spent 20 years as a Navy SEAL, retired as a Senior Chief, served combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, was also a registered nurse and paramedic. That is the kind of thing I remember. Not some big heroic speech. Not some dramatic conversation. Just two guys talking about normal life back home. Rone had three sons, including an infant son at the time. He had a family waiting for him, and he was almost done with that extended rotation. A week or so. That was about all he had left.
