@lakemonstercl1 As a critical care nurse who worked with many organ donors and transplants I can say this . When a patient comes in with a GSW to the head and they have negative neurological function, that patient is kept “alive” until they are or are not a donor. Being a donor kept her ALIVE.

Reason to be an organ donor: My firstborn son was killed instantly in a four-wheeler accident at age 24. Even with him choosing to be an organ donor the donor place in Nashville, TN still called me and it took 3-hours on phone…. But my son was used for research and he was deceased. That’s what he wanted and that’s what happened! No regrets because my sons Soul was already with Jesus. He was saved age 12, baptized age 17. Was age 24 when he got killed. I’m proud of him.

It’s not enough to say you are not an organ donor. Fill out a form similar to this for everyone in your family. Glad the mother was able to revive her daughter, that was close.
