🚨#BREAKING: A mass casualty incident has been declared in and around Vance Air Force Base, extending toward Enid Oklahoma Woodring Regional Airport, following an extremely large and powerful tornado that moved through the area under a Tornado Emergency. Officials report widespread, catastrophic damage, with numerous homes destroyed or heavily damaged, and vehicles either severely damaged or completely swept away. This is an extremely serious and rapidly developing situation. The number of injuries is not known at this time as search and rescue operations continue across the impacted area.

Want to know why the 4-26-2026 Foraker, Oklahoma #tornado went from an established "hog/ potential long track tornado" to POOF in a matter of seconds? After diving deep into my drone & 360 video it became fairly obvious as to what happened. If you watch this video close, you can see a sudden burst of what initially looks like outflow blowing out and away from the tornado as it simultaneously collapses the lower vortex. I know you're probably asking yourself, "why would this be outflow", and its a great question. The answer is, its not. What I believe is happening here is the mesocyclone is beginning to "handoff" to the new meso north. (aka the twin tornado). The RFD surge on the fully condensed tornado ends up getting pulled into the one to the north completely undercutting it. (as seen in the video). Where have we seen this before?? Funny coincidence, on the April 26, 2024 (yes same exact day two years prior) tornado outbreak across Nebraska and Iowa, you could see this exact thing happen with the Lincoln tornado as it handed off to what turned into the Waverly tornado to the north. WOW! Insane gustnado earlier in Wabash County, Indiana! This is NOT a tornado. A gustnado forms along the leading edge of thunderstorm outflow, where powerful winds spin up. No this is not a tornado...This video captures a scud cloud interacting with a slow-moving updraft along the leading edge of a storm's outflow boundary. While local terrain can sometimes generate minor, localized circulations or "gustnadoes" in these areas, the rising motion here is far too slow to be tornadic. This visually intimidating feature is just a normal part of storm dynamics and is not a tornado.

If you think Border Patrol turning traffic accidents into violent assaults is unusual… it’s not. Just last month in Chicago, a Black man was beaten, illegally detained, and choked… while his hands were behind his back. All while an agent says, “this is not an immigration enforcement action.” It is still unclear why the Border Patrol were even involved, let alone apprehended the man, especially since he was later released. What is clear: this isn’t an isolated incident. It’s a pattern of unlawful detentions and violent assaults under the guise of “federal protection.”

Shared by Rohan Juneja Happened to me in the Dwarka Expressway tunnel could’ve easily turned into a fatal crash. I was in the fast lane when an Ertiga from the opposite side suddenly took a U-turn at an emergency gap where it’s clearly not allowed. He didn’t slow down, didn’t check traffic, just kept moving while turning and almost rammed into me. This kind of reckless behavior is dangerous enough, but the lack of proper barricading makes it worse. Strict action is needed. Sharing this so people stay alert this tunnel is a daily route for many. #driveresponsibly

Four policemen were injured and one lost his life when the outer wall of the Jhangi check-post was targeted by an explosive laden vehicle in Dera Ghazi Khan Punjab. This bridge, reportedly located in Jamui, Bihar, has become hollow from inside, and one can clearly see through it from end to end. This is not just negligence it is a serious threat to public safety. Such a dangerous condition exists only because of the complete failure of monitoring and vigilance by the authorities. This is a clear example of how lives are being put at risk due to administrative apathy. We strongly urge the Bihar Government to take immediate cognizance of this matter, conduct a high-level inquiry, fix accountability, and ensure urgent repair or reconstruction before an irreversible tragedy occurs. How many warnings does the system need before lives are lost?

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feature the most impressive severe thunderstorm setup I’ve seen along the California coastline in at least a decade. The first round of isolated severe thunderstorms will come ashore tonight, bringing the threat of a isolated tornado and severe wind gusts over 60 mph from the Central Coast up to Humboldt County. The severe weather threat then expands into the Central Valley during the afternoon, California’s tornado alley, with the potential for isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, and even large hail. The threat then shifts south into Southern California tomorrow, where isolated severe wind gusts and a brief tornado will be possible. However, Christmas Eve into Christmas morning features the most potent severe weather environment of the week and could lead to a severe thunderstorm outbreak along the coastline from the Central Coast up to the North Coast. The combination of strong low-level and deep-layer shear with sufficient instability is rarely seen in this part of the world. I seriously cannot recall seeing Significant Tornado Parameter (STP) values exceed 3 along the California coastline. The peak threat window appears to be from 10 PM Thursday to 8 AM Friday. It would not be out of the question to see a Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued Christmas Eve night with the potential for a couple tornadoes and scattered severe wind gusts. I also believe this may be the first time on record that San Francisco has been placed under a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms in the Day 1–3 NWS Storm Prediction Center Convective Outlooks.

These were the first few moments of unadulterated childhood happiness when the first rainstorm of the season hit and kids were running through the streets playing in the puddles. Innocence meets youthful ignorance, unaware of the serious repercussions and problems this first storm would bring. It was a heavy and pounding storm, ushering the Winter months in with a bang. This year, everyone in Gaza was praying the rain would be delayed, hold off until the promised shelter entered the Strip, but unfortunately that was not the case. The rain fell, hard, and with it makeshift shelter were swept away in the winds, families were soaked, food supplies kept in the tents ruined, and more loss incurred. The rains have subsided today in Gaza, but this storm was a warning of what is to come and how much work we have to do. Donate to the “Give Warmth to Gaza” initiative in our Return Home Campaign.
