@carlsagandotcom Listening to this old interview of Carl Sagan makes me realize how dumbed down we have become as a society these days. Imagine watching a late night comedy show and thinking about our place in the Universe on planet Earth. Now we just get Red vs. Blue. Sad.

@carlsagandotcom I used to admire Carl Sagan. Now that I am older, much less so. He participated in the same corrosive identity politics that eventually ruined Europe. He is guilty of the same base chauvinism he accused his opponents of.

@carlsagandotcom What a great clip. It was great to have a Carl Sagan so publicly accessible to us in our lifetimes. Of course, he had it a bit easier than Galileo did with the Roman Inquisition types, and today's similars hadn't revved up their heads of steam yet.

@carlsagandotcom Anti- Wookie Discrimination 😂 Got to agree with Carl on that one but thankfully the medal oversight for Chewy was eventually corrected, but disagree that there couldn't be Humans who look like us, in fact if there is life on other planets that is more likely than anything else.
