Had @Invisalign a few years ago 1 - Lisp goes away eventually 2 - 1st tray is most painful by far 3 - Never had rubber bands 4 - What no one told me - if you are older, when your teeth move you may have issues with your teeth roots after the fact that may require a root canal.

TIP for the rubber bands is: Put them on the liners BEFORE you put them in your mouth. easy peasy.

The weight is real and it can go either way. You have to brush & floss after eating so most times I didnt eat lunch at work because I didn't want to brush & floss at work. Or when you finally eat, you binge because you know you can't snack again unless you brush/floss again.

I had Invisalign. You do need to wear a retainer at night afterwards or they will shift. Never needed rubber bands. I’d do it again.

All of this stuff was obvious going into it lol. I’ve never had to use rubber bands though, that would suck.

They’re orthodontic appliances. They’re braces. What do people expect?

Yess all happened to me. Had a lisp for a while, later they had me wear rubber bands on both sides, it was easy to put on though
