Database table size impacts performance in more ways than one: a) B-tree depth. Using 8k pages and a 16b uuid: 1 level = ~370 rows 2 levels = ~138k rows 3 levels = ~50m rows 4 levels = ~20b rows The lookup cost on a table with 100k rows is not the same as one with 1b rows. This can apply both to the table itself (MySQL cluster index) as well as the indexes. Sometimes a single query requires many of them. b) Small table → fits in RAM → fast reads. The larger the table, the more likely to read from disk plus churn the cache. c) # of indexes. Each adds maintenance overhead for insertions, and for Postgres vacuum overhead as well. Keep an eye on this! It's useful to take regular stock of your tables + indexes. Clean bloat. Remove unused indexes. Partition if needed.

LLMs/general agents still struggle to make sense of messy and complex Excel data. You can't easily dump all cells into the context window, and using the code interpreter is inefficient. LlamaSheets is one of my favorite releases from last year. We've embarked on an effort to build state-of-the-art algorithms and models to segment and parse complex Excel tables - including merged cells, hierarchical rows/columns. This includes both sheet-level and table-level understanding. We think there's a ton of use cases that this can help solve (simplest example: structuring your income/P&L/cash statements to be LLM-ready), and we'd love to get your feedback. I just shipped the JS Endpoint Extractor in rep+. It grabs endpoints from captured JS and shows them in a clean table (UI still needs work). Next step is letting you fuzz them with different methods and maybe even extract possible params from the js code. Not ready yet, but I think this will be super useful. Would love to hear your techniques so I can get inspired and build this the right way !

Initially just write the data to a CSV. - Setup an account with Snowflake or Google BigQuery. - update your Python script to load a table in Snowflake/BigQuery - schedule your script with CRON in the cloud with a service like Heroku. - build aggregations and visualizations on top of your ingested data Only thing this misses is data quality and complex job orchestration which you can learn later!
