Ahahah You're right. It's still a web app, but from the user point of view, it looks a lot like a native one (at least on macOS) 🤩

Powerful, but still tricky to activate on the devices of the users. On mobile it’s a bit easier.

On mobile installation works very easy — just two taps on iOS or Android and get a real app with real icon on your📱screen. You don’t need to wait updates approval from App Store or Google Play anymore, just deploy it and your app is up-to-dated ✅ Decentralization in action 😎

Ehehe yes. And with a service worker and manifest the user will get banner to install it. Despite that, I suppose a lot of users prefer to install an app 🤷

Agree regarding users and native apps but sometimes you can’t rely on terms, rules and policies. For example one of the rule is app must have an ability to delete user’s account and data, but this is impossible if you use blockchain as a ‘database’. btw manifest works fine 👌

Nice! PWA is def very handy especially to give an experience close to having a mobile app without having to build it separately. Sometimes they can be a bit janky though.

I agree, especially on mobile. On desktop tho, you don't have performance issues. For desktop apps with notifications, it's very handy.
