The study was conducted around ONE golf course that happens to be miles away from a Mayo Clinic specializing in Parkinson’s. Conceivable perhaps that patients moved close by for treatment!?

Did the study take age into consideration? Older people, who tend to get Parkinson's more than younger people, may tend to live near golf courses more those younger people.

Why don't pro golfers all have it? Or at least some?

3-6 miles is still +92%. Do you realize how many people live within 3-6 miles of a golf course. How about farms? How about businesses that have smokestacks? These shock stats really are not helpful.

i didn’t read the study but did they control for age. typically if you live close to a golf course you are wealthier and tend to live longer. the longer you live the more likely you are to get parkinson’s.

It would be interesting to see what’s the correlation between farm land and increased Parkinson’s. They spray tons of pesticides there

Same thing in areas that are ravaged by wildfires. Fire retardants get into the ground water and people in those areas get neurodegenerative diseases. We are being bombarded by chemicals.
