Do you notice the difference between 30fps & 60fps?? 60 fps does look smoother, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t understand people that that say 30fps is a dealbreaker.

Games and systems cost too much for 60 fps not be standard. Thats why it’s a dealbreaker for some

Makes sense, prior to posting this I didn’t realise how much of a difference it makes. Thought it was purely visual, I need to get into some higher framerate gaming, and get a better TV/monitor 😅

Literally cannot play 30fps on my tv. Way too blurry… It’s 2026, 60 should be bare minimum

Damn, what TV you got?? I need to level up my setup 😭

85 inches boi!!! Haha you can tell at that size lol

@JaeGamez Not just the size. What's the rest of the specs? You can have a 1000 inches TV & still only have 1080p graphics. 😂

@TuLoong88 @JaeGamez Correct lol

30fps is fine when you are WATCHING something, but when you are CONTROLLING the action is it important how fast your feedback loop runs.

Once you go 120fps and over is extremely hard to come back to 30 fps it feels clunky and slow but is not much a difference if that's all you know

I need to get on this 120fps train, sounds unreal 😮💨

@chikocash the human eye cannot even see that many FPS, I find it hilarious that people say it needs to be that high or higher. And I'm a PC player with a high end PC.

@JaeGamez Yeah past 120 you can really see it but you can definitely "feel it" I play at 240 fps in competitive games and the difference is staggering when compared to 60fps

@FilesFantasy @JaeGamez You can’t see it or feel it cause your eye struggles past 120 fps. In a competitive match it provides zero advantage as the fps is not related to load speed

@FilesFantasy @JaeGamez Yeah you can actually feel it fam you can see everything more clearly around you when panning the camera. I can also tell when games are dropping framas too the more fps the better and smoother your experience and that's a fact

@OfEarth_ @FilesFantasy @JaeGamez People that say “fps don’t matter” or “you can’t tell the difference over 60” are only saying that because they’ve never experienced it. Lol.

@aKillerKorean @OfEarth_ @FilesFantasy @JaeGamez Facts

Then you dont understand how fps relates to refresh rates of displays. Consoles can get away with this because they are typically displayed on televisions which are optimized for lower frame rates. On my pc I have a 165hz monitor, anything that dips too far below 80fps becomes noticeably choppy and will give me a headache over time. 30 is like watching a flip book animation.

Nope, genuinely didn’t understand all that before posting this. Learning now tho, and it’s making me wanna upgrade 😅

@xeenosgaming Another huge thing is if you are hitting 30fps during normal gameplay, when you get into a big fight and the gfx card really has to work, it drops to like 17fps. Not fun. I want a buffer so the lowest framerate is 60 and it can sync with the monitor refresh so there's not tearing

@JaeGamez The 1%s really matter when things are popping off in the heat of battle.

It's a matter of getting used to it; when you've spent hours at 60 fps and you see 30 fps, you can feel it.

Fair play, I’ve heard this before. Maybe I need to spend time playing 60fps exclusively. When I get my gaming PC 🤞🏽

@MemesManLife Good luck with these prices.

@JaeGamez It's true, it's become a nightmare 😅

Agreed. 60fps is a bit better, but 30fps still looks great! If you can’t enjoy a game because it’s not at 60fps, that’s kind of a you problem lol

Glad I’m not the only one bro, I barely notice the difference myself but people say the more you 60fps the more you notice it 🤷🏽♂️

Maybe my eyes just suck lmao 🤣

Loooool same 🤣🤣

You can feel the difference

A lot of people are saying this, starting to feel like I’m missing out 😅

i notice a difference between 180 and 240, and i cant wait until we have hardware powerful enough to run 4k480hz

Think of each frame as a moment in which the game can receive your instructions 60fps is twice the amount of time in a given second, that a game can listen to what you’re telling it to do Games don’t just look smoother at higher framerates, they respond to the player faster

30 is a deal breaker for me, blurry X vid is not comparable to playing it. It's even worse on a good e OLED screen, with a great response time and no LCD blur to mask the low fps.

As long as the game is good it dosent matter and that there arent performance issues

Agreed, as long as it’s playable and enjoyable I’m happy. Only get bothered by framerate when it drops super low

I prefer 60 fps, but I’m fine with 30 as long as it is stable.

Those PC fake gamers started this 30fp unplayable BS It is the most moronic and asinine stance in gaming history. 30 is fine. 60fps is a little bit better. That's it

It’s a deal breaker when you paid to have everything at 60fps and they don’t take advantage of it 😂 so I get it. I don’t mind sometimes though.

Ahhh yes I get that, if you’ve got the hardware I guess you wanna use it 😅

I mean I almost always use 60fps or higher. But im perfectly fine with going back to 30 as long as it’s stable. If it’s dipping even below that, thats where I draw the line😭

you cant have 2 separate framerates on different halves in the same final render lmao, when you render the video you have to select only one. the only way this works is two separate videos side by side, and even then twitter will compress them

You're using two videos in the same container on Twitter viewed on a phone. This isn't indicative of real life 30FPS gameplay, and that's before we even talk about the input lag (And I'm not even anti-30FPS, it can be fine, but the isn't it lol)

They always look the same to me

I don’t understand how can anyone stand 30 fps. Constant 60 should be the bare minimum.

Yes I notice a difference but I can happily play 30 fps in any single player game, as long as it doesn’t dip below that.

Yeah 30 is a dealbreaker for me in 2026. If it’s a really old or v slow game then yeah fine, I’m not too bothered.. but no way am I playing something like Arkham trilogy at 30fps when they run better everywhere else😕

Yeah others noted the monitor stuff which is important. However this footage is a bad example, on shooters and in combat during RPGs is where you'll notice the biggest change in experience. I suggest doing a side by side of MH Wilds at different frame rate caps during a fight.

They both look janky af. Oh its the game

Then yo fucking blind boi

Uhm, its definitely noticable. 30 FPS is a hard dealbreaker, especially when talking about price and "next-gen" but games still runnin what they were 15 years ago...yea no

I play PC, I never used to notice the difference between 60 and 120 fps, now I do because of that. 30fps definitely is not great, but I wouldn't say unplayable, just something I very much dislike and don't prefer. It's something you feel the difference the most once you have played in higher fps

If you play a game on 60 fps then try to play a 30 fps game, it’s horrible. Yes I can notice. Especially on a big screen.

if it's not a dealbreaker to you , you clearly have a 60hz monitor

You can literally see a huge difference in character motion and fluidity. You simply cannot go back to 30 FPS when you have played 60 fps and above.

Depends on the game. This is all showing simple movements. Put R6 in 30fps where quick flicks, peaks and other spontaneous movements.

If you play at 30FPs for like 30 mins you’ll forget the difference but if you go back to 60 you’ll see like whoa this is smoother and more fluid
