As a mother of a Canadian Armed Forces member, this makes me fucking angry. Watching the PM use exaggerated marching or stomping movements around our military is deeply disrespectful to the men and women who actually serve this country. My son and other CAF members put on the uniform and serve Canada. They deserve respect, not to have their service turned into a political performance. If Carney wants to stand with our military, then show them the respect and dignity they’ve earned. Don’t mock the uniform or the people who wear it. FFS!
