I just turn off crossplay on console. Sucks to be stuck with only Zero Build but at least I know that dying to someone else will likely be a skill issue and not because of a cheater.
Oh nice! That is good you can just play only other console players. Is the wait time to get into a match longer when you do that?
It’s about three minutes maybe two if there are enough real players.

I used to only have a laptop to play on and had to play with the graphics at the lowest setting because my system literally couldn’t handle it. I think it should definitely exist on PC but they should give console players the option to use it too.

It just makes the game run better it meant for people with dogshit laptops it doesnt give a competitive advantage
It literally gives you a visual advantage because you can see everything more clearly and there's no grass or special effects or shadows like I showed in the video. That's not even debatable. I literally showed this. Also you can CLEARLY see in the story on low graphics but when you're on a PS5 or high graphics being in the storm is very difficult to see.
That honestly sounds like a skill issue to me A good player is good with whatever setting i know people on playstation or xbox that are better then myself and i play on performance mode to get better performence
You always complain about stuff that you can easily fix by getting better at the game Just understand that you have a massive skill issue
Next up you are gonna complain about some pc players having better builds then consoles and say thats also cheating
Why would they allow performance mode on console when everything is capped anyways? Performance isn’t gonna help being stuck and 120 hz or 60hz and all that input delay. Console players are majority casuals who don’t even know what input delay is.
Not to mention the field of view, which is better on a PC, allowing you to zoom in.
My guess is for the most part all consoles are the same so if you optimize the game for one Xbox, it’s going to run the same on all the other Xbox’s. But everyone has different PCs with much larger gaps in performance.
Consoles are built to handle much more computing than PCs is my guess🤷♂️ although I personally prefer seeing the better graphics, it looks visually more appealing. The shadows during gameplay kind of sucks though sometimes because it feels like flashbang at times🙃
It definitely sucks. I chose to move to a console for the ease of plug and play. However, it is definitely easier to see and be a better player on PC.
Yeah, it's stupid. All they have to do is add a toggle to turn on performance mode on console.

Consoles use identical hardware for every user, so developers optimize games to run at a specific preset (like 30fps or 60fps) rather than building scalable low-end graphic toggles meant for varied PC parts
Fortnite need to give console only servers, its already cheating when pc gamers come with 500fps while console players stuck with 60fps

Console players have their own tournaments and even if they could adjust their graphics it wouldn’t matter they stand no chance compared to pc

I play on both PC and PS5. PM isn’t cheating at all, console players can’t help that Sony and Microsoft want every game possible looking the best. I’m sure they have a license agreement or something to make games visually appealing as possible is my guess.
I watching a friend stream on console the other night. Idk how they could see with that shadow. Now I know why someone else I know hated playing on his Xbox when his pc was getting repaired and kept complaining he couldn’t see as well with all the shadows

Isn t it why, console players get that crosshairs turning red when they need to shoot, and a stronger aim assist? Also this does not explain why console, still dominates the player base.
I got a hot take but that should not be a option. Also the control scheme SHOULD NOT BE EDITED in any way shape & form. Players movement & aim are not on equal footing at all. Every player should have the exact same game play with no advanced help.

Id just want to lower the graphics to have a longer life for the console… it always makes weird sounds when too many people are close in a match

I have PS5 and Pro, I typically play at 120fps (performance mode) but everyone one in a while I’ll change to 4K 60fps. 4K looks a little better but idk why I feel I play better and it my shots more at 120 and 1080 🤷🏽♂️

Visual clarity of performance mode is an advantage but it’s not that crazy. If they’d let console players turn off shadows completely maybe they could push for 160fps. But pc will always have an advantage. Playing on 160hz is nice but at that point you wanna minimize delay aswell
