DO YOU UNDERSTAND.. we don’t talk abt elemental enough because i actually wept in the theatre

i was sobbing in my living room like. holy shit the advertisement was so ass and it was an awesome movie

right oml the ads did it so dirty but the movie blew me away

I teared up each time watching this scene in the theater… this scene does NOT get enough recognition

it really doesn’t

I may not understand the scene from a cultural standpoint. But I understood from an emotional. Ember's dad's father shunned him when he left the family, here he acknowledged her and returned the gesture. It's overcoming generational trauma and I appreciated it so much!
