“reset”🎯 Everyone who ever tried fasting can attest to how fasting is very effective in breaking bad eating habits. Bad eating habits make one less productive and thus limit your life’s potential.

The body was built to self repair but capitalism ensures we do everything to destroy our body

I skipped breakfast for 5 years now and nothing has happened to me. Infact I look younger than most of my peers. I only eat one heavy meal 🥘 a day and maybe a fruit 🍎 🍌 or vegetable 🥕 🥗 later and nothing has happened to me

I have went to eating one meal a day now and my health has improved greatly. I’m working on doing a 3 day fast right now. I figured it’s a good way to start the new year. Also look into what the Bible says about fasting and how important it is physically and spiritually. Did you know that they are starting to remove anything about fasting out of the Bible and scriptures. This is actually happening and all you have to do is compare an old Bible to the new ones they are printing now. You will start to notice them omitting parts of the Bible that’s critical to our physical and spiritual health. The devil wants to keep you down spiritually and physically. Fasting is critical and necessary to break the bonds that satan tries to bind you too. Fasting draws you closer to god and brings healing.

Breakfast being the most important part of the day was a Kellogg's marketing scheme. And he is so correct about grazing which is a huge push in the fitness industry, too - eating every 2 hours - just when we've finished digesting the previous meal, we're to eat again. But, our bodies need time to detox and repair. It can't do that while digesting.

It's all about finding what works for you! Some people thrive on breakfast, others feel better skipping it. The key is listening to your body.

YOU EAT MORE WHEN YOU EAT SUGAR. I GO 14 HOURS A DAY WITHOUT EATING WHEN IM WORKING; BUT ONLY GO 6 HOURS A DAY NOT EATING WHEN IM OFF WORK, BECAUSE I REWARD MYSELF WITH SUGAR.

This all makes perfect sense. There were plenty of times when our ancestors didn't have enough to eat and other times when they had more than enough and no way to store it, so they had to eat it or give it away.

My Dad had a restaurant and my Mum was a good Greek cook. I learnt how to cook proper Greek food. I discovered new snacks from M&S Pitta chips. My weight ballooned to 216 Kilograms. I looked ridiculous. I managed to get down to 100 kilograms by no eating. Somedays nothing, other days just hard boiled eggs. I only use Gym to strengthen my bones and keep my muscle levels intact. I use it for mental health as it make me feel good. I am very strong, stronger than my 20s. He is right, we do eat way way to much. Food is also a drug, we become addicted to eating as foods like bread turn into serotonin. That is why everybody is so fat.

Basically, our hunter-gatherer ancestors often ate opportunistically—feasting after a successful hunt or gather, but also experiencing natural periods without food due to variable availability, rather than constant meals. Overall, IF can support weight loss and metabolic improvements similarly to traditional dieting, but it's not superior and carries risks. It's most effective and safe under medical guidance, paired with nutrient-dense foods.

I do 5 day fasts about every 3-4 months. Water & black coffee only. And it’s amazing how good I feel afterwards. No joint pain from inflammation, renewed energy, mental clarity, etc.

Ancestors also died before reaching 30. so seems like self-repair didn’t repair ? Famine and starving were not uncommon either.

I listen to my body. When I wake up and I don't feel hungry then I don't eat. Sometimes I don't take anything until past 12 noon, but it's not heavy. I just have a single heavy meal a day. BTW, fasting as a way to repair the body is proven by a Japanese Nobel laureate.

@jeffries_p46145 Very good. My grandson spends a lot of time in the gym. When I was his age my daily life made me fit. Think about it. Even saucepans were heavier and cars and trucks didn’t have power steering. We walked longer distances not to the car in the driveway.

In fact I believe having a late breakfast/brunch with skipping dinner most days would mimic the original way closest. For gathering food and processing it for eating, we would need time. With no fridge, breakfast would be impossible.

I eat when my body tells me I’m hungry. I’m rarely ever hungry in the morning. I never eat 3 meals a day. I’m 115 lbs, fit, and healthy. I’m not bragging but I just agree with him that there’s no need.

it's not a black and white thing .. fasting is good once in a while for detox .. the problem is people are overreating and eating horrible foods causing disease .. eating 3 meals is fine if you're eating healthy stuff
