Nic is actually one of those people that looked perfect on the show but the more you keep up after, the more things just start… not adding up. It’s like everything he does has a layer of performance to it. The “good guy” image is a bit too polished, the way he moves is very calculated, and you can tell he’s very aware of how he wants to be perceived at all times. That kind of thing always cracks eventually. With Olandria I must laugh cause she’s blinded by her delusions, it’s nice on the surface, but if you’ve been paying attention, there are little moments that feel off. Not enough for people to clock immediately, but enough to make you side-eye. And that’s usually how it starts small inconsistencies before the real slip. I don’t think he’s as genuine as people want him to be, and honestly, it’s only a matter of time before something happens that people can’t defend or spin. When it does, I’m not even going to argue with anyone. I’ll just be here, because some of us already saw it coming. #LoveIslandUSA #olandria #NicholasVansteenberghe

The k- drama We Are All Trying Here is a must watch I know some people will watch one episode and call it boring. Because It’s not fast paced. It’s slice of life in the most literal sense people sitting in rooms with their envy, their 20 year old dreams that never launched, their friends who made it while they didn’t. It’s quiet. It’s slow. It lingers on silences. But that’s exactly why it gutted me. Because this show understands the war you don’t talk about. The one where you open Instagram at 2am and feel like a failure. Where you’ve been “trying” for years and the world still doesn’t know your name. Hwang Dong-man, twenty years into film school, still no debut. Byeon Eun-ah, called “The Axe” because she has to kill other people’s dreams for a living. Everyone in this drama is carrying some private worthlessness, some comparison they can’t shake. It’s not entertaining in the way K-dramas usually are. It’s uncomfortable. It holds up a mirror to the parts of you that feel behind, bitter, unseen. But that’s why it’s so relatable. That’s why I think everyone should watch it. On the outside, life looks fine but inside, everyone is struggling in their own way. And I think that’s what makes it so relatable. I noticed something about the summer update 2026.26.1 for Belgium with Grok implemented. I have customers that have received the update. But with a noticeable difference, it has FSD Hardware 3. Currently, that’s the only car that has had the update that we’re aware of. It’s been since July 30th already. So, is there something Tesla is waiting for to release? This is a Belgium registered car, not an imported one. We’ve got French or German imported cars that already have Grok implemented. Has anyone else in Belgium or The Netherlands with Hardware 4 already received the summer update?

✨ Grok's new Imagine video model also comes with an Edit model We know edit models for images, you submit an image, write a prompt what to change, but this is the first time I've seen a proper edit model for video And it kinda works, not great yet though but it does something Here I had to remove the old name "Nomad List" in the video for my site First it said "Go nomad -> Nomad List", so I prompted it "remove the text Nomad List. do not change anything else", it didn't remove it but it replaced it with just "Go nomad" again, okay good enough Useful because otherwise I'd have to scour my backups for the original video in Final Cut Pro, and this is faster One thing you see is it changes the pattern on the door also, but that's okay for now if I fade it in

Played around with the Meta Glasses for an hour. Some observations. - First impressions. Pretty awesome piece of tech. Doesn’t look any different from any other wayfarer. Fits well. Light on the head. No headache. - Great little toy. Clicks decent pics. Can’t record for long. But good enough. Plays great music. Speakers are great. Don’t need earplugs. Can just say “Hey meta play this song” - “Hey Meta, what I am seeing” Best use case is wearing AI on your head. I looked at a book, asked it what I am seeing, it described the book, even gave a review and a short biography of the author. It translates text as well. Handsfree. - Do you really need it? Not really. It’s a handsfree phone. But a great piece of toy if you have the disposable income. Recorded this with the glasses:

Historically, that hasn’t always been his stance if you go back far enough. But in recent years, he’s been very adamant about this approach.

Infants use every tool in their toolbox to mimic their most trusted caregivers. This little one, shared to FB by Kristen Humphrey, is an amazing example. Listen to how close he comes to saying “I love you” back to his dad. How does he do it? The answer is using both sight and sound. Watch how carefully he’s studying his father’s face, using not only the cadence and sound of dad’s words but the subtle movements of his mouth to help inform his own try. And wow does he ever come close! This is how so much learning begins for infants: up close and face to face - which makes it particularly important that you carve out time to interact directly with your baby. Not just in proximity. Not in the presence of a screen. But eye to eye and face to face. It’s where the magic happens.

I took this with the intention of sharing it earlier but wimped out. Changed my mind though because I figured it might help motivate someone. I started running again 4 weeks ago after almost no running in the last 10+ years. In just a month, I knocked out an unofficial half marathon. Not only that, but it felt easy enough to talk 11.5 miles in without being winded. I’m not running fast, in fact I’m really slow at around a 12min/mile pace, but that’s the point I want to make. Running at a low heart rate does amazing things. If you want to try out this style, look up zone 2 training. Or, just go out and do some extended exercise (walk/jog) while keeping your heart rate around 130-145. Walk if you go over that upper end, even I had to when I started. Stay consistent, and you’ll see improvement relatively quickly.

Let’s be honest sir, foreigners don’t hire themselves. It’s You and me and other South Africans who hire these Malawian gardener, the Zimbabwean maid, the Ethiopian shop assistant. So how do we blame the worker and not the employer? Make it make sense 😅 Also, you sir are educated enough to know this: an undocumented foreigner is not walking into a corporate office or government department and getting a "decent job." Show me one undocumented person who got a decent job and a bank account.... So I don't know which opportunities u talking about exactly If someone crosses the border and starts a car wash, guess who supports that business? South Africans. You wash your car there, you tip, you come back… then later you say "they’re taking our jobs" 😭 Same thing with street vending, Uber Eats, cutting grass, let’s be real, many South Africans don’t even want those jobs. A lot of hitters confuse being late with letting the ball get deep. They’re not the same thing. In this video I show it with a simple example. I toss the ball and reach way out in front of me to catch it. That’s what late looks like. The ball already beat you… now you’re chasing it with your hands. Then I toss another one and catch it slightly behind me. That’s being on time and letting the ball get deep. When you’re late, your body and barrel are reacting after the ball passes your window. You’re forced to reach, cut across it, or roll it over. When you’re on time, you can let the ball travel and still control it. Now the barrel can stay through the zone longer, and you can drive it with authority. Deep ≠ late. Good hitters aren’t reaching for the ball… they’re on time enough to let it come to them. ⚾️ Train with an expert. Not an influencer.
