That's why they call alcohol a "spirit". It has an affect on you whether you like to admit it or not. It lowers your inhibitions. Your ability to control yourself, to think straight, to use all the energy of your soul. That's why I quit drinking.

I stopped drinking after 30plus years about 7 years ago. I woke up. I look back from before I stopped and dang I wish I never drank. All the shit I did and I can’t turn back time, but if I had, my life would’ve been way better. I now have Our Father in Heaven within me guiding me
