Enough of the soothing, weepy platitudes. How about teaching us the difference between good and evil and calling us to repentance? Give us a bit of that Kimball, Benson, Packer tone. The world is more evil than it's ever been, and it feels like you and the others at Church HQ are playing patty-cake with the world. Why are there pride progress pins worn by church leaders in my stake? Why are BYU and Des Book totally apostate? Why do you support lgbtq rights and legalized gay marriage?

To think that the divine counsel, which guided the early Church, is still extended to us in these latter days is a blessing beyond measure. Providence speaks through His Apostles and Prophets, and their guidance and wisdom are sweet to them who care to hear. We love you, President Holland.

We will never forget our city’s most vulnerable people, who are systemically victims of violence, drug abuse and homelessness. We have to stand up to protect those who cannot defend themselves. Guardian Angels are conducting wellness checks on homeless and emotionally disturbed individuals we encounter. We are providing water to homeless and emotionally disturbed individuals who may be dehydrated and at risk of having an episode. We will be reporting any issues on running trains to the NYPD at stations where they are assigned. Don’t look away from those who are our most vulnerable. We can do better as a city.

The most important message any of us could receive is a reminder of who we are and how we are loved by our Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Revelation from our loving Heavenly Father is a gift that allows us to feel these reminders often. May we all humble ourselves as we seek to hear Him communicate these special truths to us.

To anyone hearing this, the end of my video cut off but I wanted to tell you that repentance is a change of mind about who we are and who God is. He is Holy and we are sinners , all of us. There is no one good but God, we all sin and fall short. You don’t have to be who you are in your sin and that doesn’t define you when Christ can make you brand new, no matter what the world says you can be a new creation, your past can be washed away.. you can be a daughter (or son) of God if you put your trust in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation. Church people fail; they are sinners too but Christ will never fail us if we trust him.
