Does anyone remember this song from 1992 called “Yeah yeah yeah” by a young group called The Voices? I don’t think I’ve ever heard it before today.

@kickitoldschool Wow, what a throwback! Yes, one of them (Latoya McMoore) went to a rival high school— she was a cheerleader as well. Latoya’s still gorgeous, continues to sing, and has a fun/charismatic personality.

@kickitoldschool Ohh wow what HS was that?

@kickitoldschool Carroll High School — it’s in a small Alabama town

Beyoncé remembers it…

Remember it from BET. Realized years ago that Tia and Tamara were in the group

Ahh!!!

Beyonce's a big fan:

Wow, sir you never heard this? You do know that’s Tia & Tamera tho?

Never heard it! And I see them in it!

I remember them. They got more video play than radio play.

That’s what I was thinking! Bc I def don’t remember it from radio n I wasn’t watching the TV shows yet

I remember during Renaissance tour, Beyoncé looked over and saw Tia in the crowd and immediately worked the chorus into her song on the spot.

This most def got played at all of our middle school dances back in the day!

Lmaoooo!!

Hell yeah, Man. Tia and Tamera's first group? They were the answer to The Boys, Another Bad Creation and the other boy groups.

You didn’t watch Beyonce Remix this into her song during Renaissance when she saw Tia in the VIP section and we all learned about it then!!?

Nope, I actually went to the show the night before but didn’t see the clips til today!

You know you heard this when Beyonce made it go viral! Lol you looking for a hit tweet 😏

Nope, I actually went to the Renaissance show in L.A. the night before that happened but I never saw her clip til today!

Yes this is a key song in 90s kid's R&B. I see folks covered the major factoids about it lol I'm just surprised you missed it.

This was the jam 😂😂. There really aren’t any child stars anymore

This is what o grew up on. Their album was dope

Yep! I was in 6th grade when it came out. I sang this and Cloudy With a Chance of Tears like I was in the group 😂

This song reminds me of such good times and it makes me sad at the same time.

yeah, i remember this song. but im also born in ‘78 lol 😂

This song goes through my mind a couple of times a yeah! This, and “Crazy” by “The Boys”

Good luck being a R&B sensation in 1992.. I remember this song but the field was so saturated with stars n Icons that songs like this didn’t last long

Damn!

MJB Bobby Brown Shai Boyz ll Men TLC Prince Aaron Hall Jodeci Micheal Jackson Whitney Houston Toni Braxton to name a few had the airwaves n BET on smash

My Mama Didn’t Raise No Fool is my song too

I remember the video, but I don't remember if they got radio play, at least not in my local region 🤷🏿♂️ That was also Tia & Tamera in the video. Not sure if they were officially group members. #90s #music

I remember it very well. This is where it all started for the Mowry sisters

Tia & Tamera

Yup. Tia and Tamera. Remember this vividly. Bey shouted them out during Renaissance here in LA after spotting the twins in audience. A former singer (Arike Rice) in Voices became the lead singer of late 90’s group Befote Dark.

I remember this.

I was a little too young when this came out, but I know it from when Beyonce referenced it in honor of Tia Mowry a couple years back. That little girl sanging tho.

@Southfield_dr Nope but it’s a cute crush song

Yep. Tia and Tamera were in this group! It was right up my 11 year old alley! Lol

Ron! I can’t believe you never heard this!

Nooooupe! My cousins were playing Arrested development n DJ Quik at the time lol

@divinejanai Oh lawd. Nice way to say you're cousins didn't have variety.

@divinejanai They were teens, I remember them mainly playing Rap overall and not R&B….at least for the boys. The girl cousins def played the R&B

I remember this 🤠

Classic they got a cover of the manhattans cloudy with a chance of tears thats fire as well. RnB heads definitely remember them

Beyoncé and I do.

@stickysweett1 Ok this is the song Beyoncé included in her set during the Renaissance tour when Tia was in the audience. I think it was a lil tribute to them.

Every young black girl in the 90s loved this song. This is how most of us were introduced to Tia and Tamera

Definitely remember this record.
