Father of PlayStation, Ken Kutaragi, went to Nintendo and made a deal to create a sound chip for the SNES that allowed for 8 sound channels instead of 3. After that they began to collaborate on a CD based add-on. But just as Sony were about to announce the partnership, Nintendo backed out at the last minute to go with Philips instead. Ken Kutaragi was shocked and furious. He said 99.9% of people in Sony wondered why Sony are trying to make games and tarnish the brand. However, in the following management meeting Ken Kutaragi stood up in front of then Sony CEO Norio Ohga and said “is our company the type to give up like this?” He proposed his plan to use Sony’s latest technology to create their own game console. Sony CEO Ohga responded “Then give it a try. Do it!” And the Sony PlayStation was born!

🐰: i remember exactly, it was like 1:51 in the morning, there's a shower booth, and in front of the door there was something that looked like a strand of black hair. so i went, what's that, and looked closer and the antennae were wiggling around like this, ugh, something's seriously wrong here, what is this, it's a cockroach, i thought. and i looked to see if there were more and there was another one over in that corner, so through the drain, guess it came up through the drain. so i got out, i shut the door and got out. i was thinking, how do i kill that, how am i supposed to catch it and apparently, richard can't eat it either 🥟: oh, you were trying to feed it to him? 🤣🤣 🐰: so i called yang jeongin and he'd been sleeping, he said he wouldn't come no matter what, so. 🐺: how come you didn't call me? 🐰: i didn't think you could catch it 🐺: i totally would 🐰: anyway, i put on rubber gloves and sanitary gloves and caught it. i wrapped toilet paper around my hand 15 times, put it on top and just smacked it, like this 🥊🥊🥊 but the thing was big i think it just came in from somewhere

I'm playing GTA V on a PS3 and its been such a fun experience. I remember when was a kid and playing this for the first time, I didn't give a damn about how BAD the framerate was during driving. I was constantly in awe by how realistic this game looked back then that the framerate wasn't something that was going to stop me from enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, this game is running on a PS3 that has 256mb of RAM and 256mb of VRAM which is some black magic itself and the fact that Rockstar Games managed to have such a massive open world game with that much traffic and NPCs running in real-time is a feat on its own.
