In simple language: Venezuela is on lockdown from international trade. We have orders from our courts to go after oil tankers that are entering and leaving Venezuela. We have them surrounded with our warships and carriers. In the next few weeks, they will run out of their storage facility and will likely begin to pump, but that will heavily depend on their level of corporation with us. I am working with the Department of war on this. So yes, we are running Venezuela by putting pressure on the levers of their economy. We are doing this to reposition Venezuela and to influence whatever changes they are likely to make. What we do next depends solely from the response we will get from their new leadership.

What’s he’s trying to say is, stop selling Oil in any other currency other than the USD. Because by doing that the USD looses value as Venezuela is the highest Oil producing country in the world.

Not run Venezuela They've hijacked Venezuela and quarantined it's resources for the time being until they see a more competent Venezuelan leader that suits their status quo

He is saying, I can't go against what the president had said. The president already said "we are going to run Venezuela" 👇

Hahaha Atasaa, Venezuela can not longer be a sovereign state, even if another president is elected, they have to run things through the US first, they only can do what's in the best interest of US

"we have leverage" = military power I believe he is trying to say Venezuela's oil will from now on be controlled by US and any sale or movement of oil without US will be ceased

What he's saying is that the US is now 80% in control of Venezuela. Until the people of Venezuela have someone who is willing to work with the US. Considering that the captured president isn't the legitimate president.

He is simply saying that. 1. American interest come first 2. The previous government is nothing to write home about. 3. He is involved in any policy taking place and not directly running the country of Venezuela 4. Again American interest comes first

What he is saying is, though they kidnapped the president, the regime hasn't really changed but they now have leverage. So the regime will have to have to play ball with the Trump administration. So the US will basically be running the country by proxy.

Simply put, They are not interested in the governance of Venezuela, they only want to monopolise the oil in Venezuela. If they don't want to sell to you, you will not get a drop out of Venezuela, if you've depended heavily on the oil of Venezuela and you want oil now, you'll have to switch allegiance to US before you can get oil. They are more interested in the exports of oil. Shalom

"United States should invade Nigeria, remove Tinubu, blah blah" This is disheartening. He can't answer simple question straight forward. Venezuelan people go suffer oo. They welcome the enemy to their doorstep with their own hand. Wetin no benefit USA, Venezuela dare not try it

“Holding them leverage” - There are sales of oil to some part of the World that contradicts the interest of the United States. So any tanker that pick up oil or ready to pick that are not in the interest of the US will be dealt with according to the court order. I think there are more to the headlines we are seeing.

Lol. They are trying to force the weakened government of Venezuela into making a deal by bringing in the exiled Exxon Mobil companies back in. The sole aim is to pressure them by blocking anything from entering the shores of Venezuela.

The US does not want Venezuelan oil to be sold to Russia, China, or Iran because these countries are rivals of the U.S. The U.S. also seeks to prevent rival nations from gaining strong allies in its region. As a result, it aims to stay several steps ahead of its competitors.

You see how he never admitted or agreed directly to the US running Venezuela. He ambiguously explained the situation. Basically the US is bullying Venezuela and they have installed puppets in the government that would do things to favour the US.
