Peter, the chief of the apostles: ‘Baptism now saves you.’ Ryan, the chief of @needGod_net: No it doesn’t.

Give it up man. @ShamelessPopery already brilliantly rebutted you on this point; I’m glad the whole world can witness it themselves.

Realized that arbitrarily cutting chunks out of the Bible wasn’t the win you thought it was?

Truth! John 3:18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him." John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 6:40: For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. John 8:24 I said, therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 11:25-26: Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.’ Romans 10:9: If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Ephesians 2:8: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. 1 John 5:13: I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Joe, in a recent video on his YouTube channel Shameless Popery, already refuted this line of reasoning. He also dismantled your position in the recent debate between both of you. Why do you keep up with this falsehood?

You said Mark 16:16 wasn’t even Scripture in the debate a few days ago…

CHRIST IS “THE PRIVILEGED ROUTE”? Since Bishop Robert Barron has now publicly disavowed Carrie Prejean Boller (who did nothing wrong), I think it’s appropriate to recall what His Excellency told Ben Shapiro in 2018, when Shapiro asked him point-blank, “What’s the Catholic view on who gets into Heaven and who doesn’t? … Am I basically screwed here?” “No,” said Barron — to a man who rejects Our Lord. “The Catholic view — go back to the Second Vatican Council [which] says it very clearly. I mean, Christ is the privileged route to salvation.” Source: Where does Vatican II teach that Christ is “the privileged route to salvation”? It doesn’t. On the contrary, the Council says that Christ is “the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation”: “Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it [the Council] teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator [cf. 1 Tim. 2:5] and the unique way of salvation [cf. Acts 4:12]. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism [cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5] and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church. Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved.” (Lumen Gentium, art. 14) Now, the Council also says: “Those also can attain to salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience [cf. D.S. 3869-3872].” (Lumen Gentium, art. 16) Does this apply to Ben Shapiro and other Jews who have heard and rejected the Gospel of Christ and His Church? (The answer should be obvious.) See here for a fuller treatment of the 2018 interview:
