Does "problamtic media" really need to conform to whatever soyfilled contemporary zeitgeist were concerned with? I don't think so if you don't like something you shouldn't have a problem with it, you should just stop watching it

I think he's contradicting himself there, he says its handled well in games of thrones because otherwise it wouldn't be so popular, but shows one of the most popular isekai of all time as an example of it being handled badly

It's totally subjective how well something is handled correctly sometimes consequences aren't even the point and you wouldn't need to see a bad person go to jail or be killed to know what he's doing is bad you know

Fiction aims to generate entertainment through ideas and concepts, even those that are uncomfortable in real life, as it is a safe space since it remains in the realm of ideas, but today people try to equate fiction to real life so they feel morally superior and gain attention

People think they have some kind of Special Moral Authority, when they’re actually just judgmental pricks.

@MushokuSensei7 It’s funny because he puts up Mushoku Tensei and talks about got being popular which is why it handles problematic media well despite Mushoku Tensei being some of the most popular light novel, isekai, and even anime series.

Just watch and enjoy what you like if its not something you enjoy dont watch play or read it. Acting like others need to change what they enjoy is retarded

Whole lotta nothing actually if you want a children's book where the bad guy is always wrong and always loses than you don't have media literacy

People should just shut the fuck up and enjoy what they want. If you don’t like it, not consume it. Matter fact go outside and do something if it really bothers you that much instead of hiding behind the screen. Me personally I’m a sick fuck. I like this kind of things. Kill me!

The scene in goblin slayer ep1 was necessary to show how disgustingly evil the goblins are, and I will die on that hill (granted, that scene made me debate with myself for like 20 mind whether or not to continue the series)
