@satyanadella While most arguments were quite sound, the argument about new cognitive work getting created and assumption that knowledge worker being above always is the one felt little off. (sort of like avoiding to think about the scenario further) Nonetheless, we are quite far from that.

@satyanadella In hindsight, this question may seem unclear. If we define AGI as “a thing that can do all of X”, then we run the risk of never technically reaching “AGI” despite total societal transformation, just because we humans end up deciding to continually re-define what constitutes “X”.

@satyanadella He is filtering all his thoughts through business enterprise lens (of course necessary as a public company CEO), so it's hard to tell what he actually believes, though no doubt given their agreement with OpenAI he is well aware of the more far-out AGI predictions.

@satyanadella Satya has never seemed to have thought too deeply about AI, and despite all the advancements made, still strikes me as having very uninsightful takes. Either he's being intentionally dishonest, or can't breakout of his previous mindset.
